As aspiring students of technology, science, engineering, and math ,we want to inspire the community with our enthusiasm for robotics as we seek to develop and broaden young minds.
2008 Team with Judges Award winning Thor IV. This robot went on to the Technology Student Association Competition in Waco and took Best in State while pulling in more Texas teams with his presence and bringing questions to the sponsor Ms. Smalling as "How can we get this program in our school?"
2008 - In 2008 we painted and designed a front end and placed a grill on Thor, while engineering what has been our best robot since starting our team in 2000. With the power of the hammer we can knock the game ball off the overhead so that it is put into play. Thor IV is our pride and joy with becoming our most decorated with awards to date. We have been requested numerous times for demonstrations of him along with his awards.
Reagan robotics is split into several sub-teams including; build, design, awards, mentoring, web design, Sea Turtle, VEX, BEST, and administrative.
Two alliances of three teams each compete on a 27' x 54' field with bumps attempting to earn points by collecting soccer balls in their goals. Additional bonus points are earned for each robot not touching the field at the end of the match.

•Robots may not possess more than one ball at a time, but they may herd and kick multiple balls at a time. Balls must remain in contact with the floor while in robot’s possession.

•Alliances must return scored balls to the field quickly.

•Only one robot at a time is permitted to play defense in front of the opponent’s goals.
